They claim to make millions and want to get you in their class, their forum, their boot camp, their inner circles, their system so they can then Sell you More! It is wise to do your due dilligence when looking for a mentor no matter what the area of expertise you need help with. Especially when it comes to money. Or you can soon find yourself parting with it to make them richer! It is easier today to scam people because the internet has made it that way. Anyone can set up a website, throw together a "course" and call it the answer to all our prayers. The first thing I would look for is longevity. How long has this person been online? You can do some research using the Wayback Machine ~ http://www.archive.org/web/web.php ~ as well as doing domain searches. Find out who owns the domain you are being directed to as well as how long they have owned it. Keep in mind that internet marketers buy new domains when they have new products and services come out. So that is only a start. Google the person in question to see what other internet presence they have. Ask for references. I have been online since 1997 (my first website) and since then have set up at least a dozen over the years so I do hope that people do their research when they are considering to hire or be mentored by me.
